Small engines are miserable to haul to a shop and often sit there for weeks in season. I service them in your garage or driveway instead — usually the same visit. Most no-start problems trace back to old fuel and a gummed-up carburetor, and both are fixable on site.

How pricing works
Small engine work is quoted per machine after a phone call about the symptoms. Carburetor service and tune-ups are the most common jobs and are priced as a flat package; parts are quoted before I install them. Multiple machines in one visit save you money on travel.
Timing & season
Get snowblowers serviced in October and November — once the first real snow falls, every shop in the area has a two-to-three week backlog. Mowers are best serviced in March and April.
Common questions
My snowblower won't start after sitting all summer — what's wrong?
Nine times out of ten it's stale fuel that has varnished the carburetor jets. Cleaning or rebuilding the carb and draining the old fuel fixes it. A fresh plug and filter usually go on at the same time.
Do I have to bring the machine anywhere?
No. I work on it in your garage or driveway, so there's no loading it into a truck or waiting weeks at a shop.
Can you service more than one machine per visit?
Yes, and it's the most cost-effective way to do it. Snowblower, mower and generator in one stop is a common request.
Can you service a generator before storm season?
Yes — oil, plug, filter, fuel treatment and a load test so you find out it works before you need it.
