Meet the mechanic

Dayton Isaacs

I'm the kind of guy who can look at something broken, take it in for a minute, and know how it goes back together — no search bar required. That instinct was built over years of racing, wrenching and building: motocross and BMX growing up, then ATVs, side-by-sides and snowmobiles, then a career spent maintaining the equipment other businesses depend on.

I started Bay On Wheels to put that experience in a truck and bring it to your driveway, dock or job site — 25 miles around St. Michael, MN. Honest answers, straight pricing, and work done right the first time.

Family First

I'm a family man through and through. My wife Mackenzie and son Ben are my world, and they're the reason I built a business around showing up, doing good work, and being home for dinner. When you hire Bay On Wheels, you're hiring a neighbor who plans on being around for a long time.

Background & Experience

A working résumé of the trades and equipment I've spent my career around.

Manufacturing & Infrastructure Maintenance

Keeping production equipment and facility systems running in environments where downtime isn't an option.

Fleet, Semi Truck & Trailer

Fleet management plus hands-on heavy-duty truck and trailer maintenance, inspections and roadside repair.

Automotive Service & Performance

Diagnostics, maintenance and repair across cars and light trucks — with a soft spot for making things faster.

Motorsports & Powersports

A lifetime on motocross and BMX tracks, plus ATVs, side-by-sides and snowmobiles ridden hard and wrenched on harder.

Carpentry & Construction

Residential and commercial construction experience that carries over to decks, sheds and property projects.

Custom Builds

Custom PC builds and custom firearms for enthusiasts — precision work where the details matter.

The list keeps going — marine and small engine work, welding-adjacent fabrication, hauling and property clean-up. If it has an engine, a trailer, or a to-do list attached to it, odds are I've already fixed one.
