Mobile Brake Repair
Brakes are the most common job I do on site, and they're a perfect fit for a mobile bay: the car doesn't need to move, the parts are predictable, and most jobs are done in a couple of hours. I bring the jack, stands, torque wrench and tools to your driveway or parking lot and replace what's worn while you stay home.

How pricing works
Brake work is quoted per axle after a quick phone conversation about your vehicle and symptoms. You pay for parts plus labor — no shop fee, no diagnostic charge to look at an obvious brake noise, and no towing since I come to the vehicle. If I open it up and find something different than expected, I call you with the price before doing the work.
Timing & season
Most pad-and-rotor jobs take about 1–2 hours per axle. Minnesota winters are hard on brake hardware, so fall is a good time to get worn pads handled before salt season locks up slide pins and caliper brackets.
Common questions
Can brakes really be replaced in my driveway?
Yes. Brake pads and rotors need jack stands, hand tools and a torque wrench — all of which travel in the truck. A level driveway, garage floor or parking spot is all the space required.
Do I need to be home during the brake job?
You need to be there to hand over the keys and approve the work, but you don't have to stand outside. Most customers go back inside and get a text when it's finished.
How long do brake pads last?
Typically 30,000 to 70,000 miles depending on how and where you drive. Stop-and-go commuting and towing wear them faster than highway miles.
Do you supply the brake parts?
I can source quality parts for you, or install parts you've already bought. Either way, the price is agreed before I start.
